Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides. d. Add the dried molokhia leaves, ground coriander, and ground cumin. Stir well to combine. e. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 40-50 minutes until the chicken is tender and cooked through. f. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with rice or bread. • Molokhia Sauce: Ingredients: • 1 cup dried molokhia leaves • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth • 2 cloves of garlic, minced • 2 tablespoons olive oil • Juice of 1 lemon • Salt and pepper to taste Instructions: a. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. f. Return the sauce to the saucepan, add the lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
