Remember to rinse white quinoa before cooking to remove any natural bitter coating it may have. The general ratio for cooking white quinoa is 2 parts liquid to 1 part quinoa. Simmer it covered for about 15 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
