Mint and cumin lamb chops

A Middle eastern flare to your lamb chops, combine the refreshing taste of dried mint with the earthy warmth of cumin

  • Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
  • Serves: 4 people
  • 8 lamb chops (about 1.5 kg total)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried mint
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, ground cumin, dried mint, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Marinate the Lamb Chops: Place the lamb chops in the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse the meat.
  • Cook the Lamb Chops: Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Rest and Serve: Let the lamb chops rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute. Garnish with additional dried mint if desired.

Tip: For an even deeper flavour, marinate the lamb chops overnight.
