This easy sesame chicken is inspired by Japanese izakaya dishes but made with your clever pantry swaps – the lime powder stands in for yuzu and gives the perfect citrus lift.

2 chicken thighs, chopped
2 tbsp sesame seed oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or cane molasses
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp chilli flakes or togarashi substitute
1 tsp lime powder
1 tbsp sesame seeds (white or black)
Crispy fried onions, optional garnish
Heat oil in pan. Add chicken and sear until golden.
Add soy sauce, honey, garlic, chilli, and lime powder.
Simmer until sticky and bubbling.
Toss with sesame seeds and serve over steamed rice or salad.

What shipping methods are available and how much?
We use Royal Mail second class postal service for all orders. Shipping is free when you order is £30 or more or have 10 or more items in your basket, a standard £4.99 charge will be applied for any cart containing less than £30 worth of products or less than 10 products.
