Chicken koftas are one of those comforting dishes that feel both homely and a little exotic. By mixing Greenfields Baharat with chicken mince, herbs and a touch of garlic, you get succulent skewers that are smoky, tender and bursting with flavour. Serve them with flatbreads, yoghurt dip and a crisp salad for an easy but memorable meal.
500g chicken mince
1 medium onion, grated and squeezed of excess water
2 garlic cloves, finely grated
2 tbsp Greenfields Baharat
1 tsp Greenfields Ground Cumin
1 tsp Greenfields Ground Coriander
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp Greenfields Parsley)
1 tsp Greenfields Himalayan Pink Salt (Fine)
½ tsp Greenfields Cracked Black Pepper
2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional, for binding)
Olive oil for brushing
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken mince, onion, garlic, Baharat, cumin, coriander, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well until sticky. Add breadcrumbs if the mixture feels too wet.
Divide into 8 portions and shape onto skewers, pressing firmly so they hold together. If not using skewers, shape into oval patties.
Brush lightly with olive oil.
Grill, BBQ, or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
Serve hot with flatbreads, a yoghurt dip, and fresh salad.

What shipping methods are available and how much?
We use Royal Mail second class postal service for all orders. Shipping is free when you order is £30 or more or have 10 or more items in your basket, a standard £4.99 charge will be applied for any cart containing less than £30 worth of products or less than 10 products.
