Blossom honey and lime glazed lamb chops

Lamb chops are a versatile and flavourful cut of meat that pairs beautifully with a variety of marinades and glazes. This recipe combines the natural sweetness of blossom honey with the refreshing zest of lime, creating a glaze that caramelises perfectly when cooked. A touch of garlic and spices adds depth, making these chops a standout dish for any occasion. Serve them with roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or buttery mashed potatoes for a complete meal.

For the lamb chops:
  • 8 lamb chops (approx. 125g each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
For the glaze:
  • 3 tbsp blossom honey
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  1. Prepare the lamb chops:
    Pat the lamb chops dry with kitchen paper. Rub them with olive oil, salt, and pepper on both sides. Set aside to marinate while you prepare the glaze.
  2. Make the glaze:
    In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, lime zest, soy sauce, minced garlic, cumin, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  3. Cook the lamb chops:
    Heat a large frying pan or griddle pan over medium-high heat. Sear the lamb chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly charred at the edges. Reduce the heat to medium.
  4. Glaze the chops:
    Pour the glaze over the lamb chops and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, flipping the chops to coat them evenly. The glaze should become thick and sticky, coating the lamb beautifully.
  5. Rest and serve:
    Remove the lamb chops from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring tender and juicy meat.

We use Royal Mail second class postal service for all orders. Shipping is free when you order is £30 or more or have 10 or more items in your basket, a standard £4.99 charge will be applied for any cart containing less than £30 worth of products or less than 10 products.
