Fenugreek seed tea

Fenugreek seed tea is not only simple to prepare but also offers numerous health benefits. With just a few ingredients and minimal effort, you can enjoy a soothing and nutritious drink that supports your overall well-being. Enjoy this ancient remedy and reap its healthful rewards.

  • tablespoon of fenugreek seeds
  • 500 ml of water
  • Honey or lemon (optional, to taste)

Prepare the Seeds:

Take 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds and rinse them under cold water to remove any dust or impurities.

Boil the Water:

In a medium-sized pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.

Simmer the Seeds:

Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed fenugreek seeds.

Reduce the heat to low and let the seeds simmer for 10-15 minutes. The longer you simmer, the stronger the flavour will be.

Strain the Tea:

After simmering, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a minute.

Strain the tea into a cup using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.

Optional Additions:

Add honey or a slice of lemon to taste if you prefer a sweeter or more citrusy flavour.

Serve:

Enjoy your fenugreek seed tea hot.
