Here, Greenfields Habanero Chilli Powder is whisked into a sweet pineapple and lime glaze that coats crispy halloumi fries. The salty cheese, the tangy-sweet fruit, and the deep, fruity heat of habanero come together in a way that feels indulgent yet refreshing. 250g halloumi cheese, cut into thick fries
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp olive oil
100ml pineapple juice
2 tbsp runny honey (or Greenfields Greek Blossom Honey for depth)
1 tbsp soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp Greenfields Habanero Chilli Powder
1 tsp Greenfields Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Greenfields Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Greenfields Crispy Fried Onions (for garnish)
Fresh coriander, chopped
Lime wedges, to serve
Toss the halloumi fries lightly in cornflour until coated.
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan and fry halloumi until golden on all sides. Set aside on a plate.
In a small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, habanero chilli powder, smoked paprika and garlic powder. Simmer until the glaze thickens slightly (5–6 minutes).
Return halloumi to the pan and toss in the glaze until well coated.
Serve hot, sprinkled with crispy fried onions and fresh coriander. Add lime wedges on the side.

We use Royal Mail second class postal service for all orders. Shipping is free when you order is £30 or more or have 10 or more items in your basket, a standard £4.99 charge will be applied for any cart containing less than £30 worth of products or less than 10 products.
