Pink Rose Brownies

With beautiful pink hue and irresistible taste, they are sure to impress your friends and family. Follow this easy recipe to create a batch of these delectable brownies that will leave everyone asking for more.

  • 200g unsalted butter
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 250g granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals
  • Pink gel food colouring
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together. You can microwave it in short bursts, stirring in between, or use a double boiler.
  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until well combined.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and eggs, and stir until smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the chocolate mixture. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to over mix.
  6. Add a few drops of pink gel food colouring to the batter and stir until the colour is evenly distributed. Add more colouring if desired to achieve your desired shade of pink.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the dried rose petals evenly over the batter, pressing them lightly into the surface.
  9. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Remove the pan from the oven and let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  11. Once cooled, lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut them into squares.
  12. Serve and enjoy these scrumptious Pink Rose Brownies with a cup of tea or as a delightful dessert.

Note: Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
