  Try Black Sesame Cookies: Ingredients:
  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 125g unsalted butter, softened
  • 125g powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small pan, toast the black sesame seeds over medium heat for a few minutes until fragrant. Let them cool, then grind them in a food processor or coffee grinder until fine.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the ground black sesame seeds, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl, and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour to the mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand or a fork.
  8. Bake the cookies for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
