Hot cheesy bacon appetizers

A no-cook, simple yet delicious appetizer

  • Goat cheese
  • Cream cheese
  • Crispy bacon
  • Walnuts
  • Greenfields parsley 1tbsp
  • Greenfields hot chilli flakes 1tsp
  • Dried cranberries
  • Dried apple slices or round crackers
  • Bamboo sticks/lolipop sticks
  1. Cook the bacon in the oven. Preheat oven to 220•C and lay each strip of bacon onto a foil-wrapped baking sheet, making sure the strips do not touch. Bake for 12-15 minutes, flip each strip, then bake another 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from oven and let the bacon dry on a plate covered with a paper towel. Flip after 10 minutes to let the over side “dry.” Once all the excess grease is drained or dried, dice bacon into bits.
  3. Crush the walnuts.
  4. Collect the parsley and hot chilli flakes.
  5. Add the goat cheese and cream cheese to a stand mixer and mix with a paddle on medium low speed. Then add half the bacon bits, half the diced walnuts, and half the parsley and hot chilli flakes and mix on low until combined.
  6. Combine the other half of the bacon bits, walnuts, chilli flakes and parsley in a bowl and mix together with a spoon.
  7. Using a scoop or your hands, roll cheese mixture into 1″ balls and then roll the balls in the bacon, nut, and parsley mix to coat the outside.
  8. Add a stick and set aside on dried apple slices, crackers, or on parchment paper.
  9. Once all the balls are rolled and coated, place the Goat Cheese & Bacon Balls into the fridge until ready to serve.

We use Royal Mail second class postal service for all orders. Shipping is free when you order is £30 or more or have 10 or more items in your basket, a standard £4.99 charge will be applied for any cart containing less than £30 worth of products or less than 10 products.

We only ship to the United Kingdom.
