Seasoned & spicy hasselback potatoes

A delicious textured, spicy and seasoned side potato dish


  • 1 bag of small new, organic potatoes
  • tsp of dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp of Greenfields turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp of Greenfields ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of Greenfields ground coriander
  • 2 of virgin olive oil
  • Greenfields Sesame seeds
  • Salt & pepper
  • Head of garlic cut in half
  • Throw on an extra 1/2 tsp of your favourite spice
  • Fresh parsley


  1. Wash and cut the potatoes into thin slices without cutting them completely
  2. Place each potato on a wooden spoon and cut slices along the top into the potato – 3/4 of the way through or until touches the edge of the wooden spoon – with a large, sharp knife
  3. Sprinkle all the spices over the potatoes, season with salt, pepper and olive oil
  4. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 200°C add toasted sesame seeds and fresh parsley and serve.
