Chamomile Tea

Whether you’re looking for a way to relax after a long day or simply enjoy a warm and comforting beverage, chamomile tea is an excellent choice

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Steeping time: 5 minutes

  • 2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers
  • 2 cups water
  • Honey or lemon (optional, for flavour)
  1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
  2. While the water is heating, measure 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers and place them in a tea infuser or a small tea bag.
  3. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and pour it over the chamomile flowers.
  4. Cover the saucepan or cup with a lid or a small plate to trap the steam and let it steep for about 5 minutes. Steeping time can vary depending on personal preference, so adjust it to your taste.
  5. After the desired steeping time, remove the lid or plate, and carefully remove the tea infuser or tea bag from the liquid.
  6. If desired, add honey or a squeeze of lemon to enhance the flavour of the tea. Stir well.
  7. Pour the chamomile tea into your favourite teacup or mug and enjoy it while it’s still warm.

Note: You can adjust the strength of the tea by increasing or decreasing the amount of chamomile flowers and the steeping time. Experiment with the recipe to find your perfect cup of chamomile tea.
