Indian Masala Omelete

Indian masala omelette is a delicious dish that is commonly enjoyed for breakfast or brunch in India. Packed with aromatic spices, fresh herbs, and vegetables, making it a delightful and satisfying meal. It is quick and easy to prepare, making it a popular choice for a hearty start to the day.

For 1 omelette

  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp Greenfields red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp Greenfields garam masala powder
  • ¼ tsp Greenfields coriander powder
  • ⅛ tsp Greenfields cumin powder
  • ⅛ tsp Greenfields turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp chopped onions
  • 1tbsp chopped pepper
  • ½ green chilli chopped
  • Handful grated mozzarella cheese
  • oil for cooking

Preparation

  1. Break the 2 eggs into a small bowl and add all of the spices and chopped vegetables
  2. Add ½ of a green chilli (chopped), (you can also add coriander leaves to the mix, optional, but delicious).
  3. Mix everything together using a whisk or a fork, till well blended.

Cooking

  1. In a frying pan add oil of your choice, spread it over the pan and lightly heat it up for a minute or so.
  2. Pour the egg mixture in the pan, and spread out the veggies evenly.
  3. Add the grated mozzarella cheese on top just before the mix starts cooking.
  4. Cover and cook for about 1-2 minutes on medium heat, till the cheese has melted, and the bottom has firmed up a little.
  5. Flip the egg omelette, and now and add more oil to the side then cook for another minute or so until the egg is fully cooked
  6. Serve hot with regular sliced bread or roti

We use Royal Mail second class postal service for all orders. Shipping is free when you order is £30 or more or have 10 or more items in your basket, a standard £4.99 charge will be applied for any cart containing less than £30 worth of products or less than 10 products.
