Beef, Broccoli & Sriracha Stir Fry

Combine tender slices of beef with crisp broccoli florets in savoury and spicy sriracha. An easy stir-fry recipe that you can prepare in no time.

Marinade: 20 mins

Cooking: 10 mins

  • 1lb sirloin steak sliced thinly
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 160g soy sauce
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 80g beef or chicken stock
  • 2 tsp Sriracha seasoning
  • Sesame seeds and thin sliced green onions for garnish.
  1. Marinade: add half soy sauce, lime juice, 1 tbsp cornflour to the steak with a little salt and pepper.
  2. Leave at least 20 min (but if you can leave longer the better!)
  3. Sear the steak with 1tbsp oil over med high heat in a large frying pan. Searing about 2 min per side. Remove to small bowl and keep warm.
  4. Add remaining tbsp oil to pan and add garlic for about 1 minute .
  5. Stir in stock, the remaining brown sugar and soy sauce, and add sriracha.
  6. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add broccoli and simmer until tender (about 5 minutes). Add steak back in, give it a toss, garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately
