This five peppercorn fish recipe is not only a feast for the taste buds but also a healthy choice. Enjoy the delightful blend of flavours and the health benefits of a protein-packed, low-calorie meal.

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • 4 white fish fillets (such as cod, haddock, or sea bass), approximately 150-200g each
  • 5 tbsp Greenfields five mis peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and place a baking dish in the oven to heat.
  2. Season both sides of the white fish fillets with salt and use a spice grinder to add the freshly ground five peppercorns.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned fish fillets into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust.
  5. While the fish is cooking, combine the lemon zest and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  6. Transfer the seared fish fillets from the pan to the preheated baking dish in the oven. Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Once done, remove the fish from the oven and drizzle the lemon zest and juice mixture over the top.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
