Kale chips

A delicious, healthy alternative to crisps, with less calories, carbs and fat
Simple to make with simple ingredients but loaded with powerful antioxidants and an excellent source of vitamin C and K. These kale chips can help lower cholesterol and the risk of heart disease. Ideal for diets as they are low calorie but helps to make you feel full.


  • Kale
  • Coconut oil – organic if possible
  • Yeast flakes


  1. Select a bunch of organic kale. Wash it well. Trim off the stalks and cut into bite size pieces.
  2. Add a couple of tablespoons of organic coconut oil, a couple of tablespoons of nutritional yeast flakes (or savoury yeast flakes) and sea salt.
  3. Massage the mix into your kale.
  4. Bake them in the oven on the lowest setting for a couple of hours.
