Peach & banana smoothie

A refreshing smoothie packed with vitamins, minerals, and fibre, making an excellent choice for a healthy breakfast or a rejuvenating snack.
  1. Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  2. Cooking Time: 0 minutes
  3. Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Fresh peaches, pitted and sliced (or 150g of frozen peaches)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 250 ml almond milk (or any other milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • A handful of ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)
  • Honey or maple syrup to taste (optional, for added sweetness)

Step 1: In a blender, combine the sliced peaches, ripe banana, and almond milk. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Add the chia seeds to the blender. If you’re using ice cubes for a colder smoothie, add them now. Blend again until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency. If it’s too thick, you can add a little more milk to thin it out.

Step 3: Taste the smoothie and, if desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten it. Blend briefly to incorporate the sweetener evenly.

Step 4: Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately for the best flavour and texture.
