Hibiscus & Lime Iced Tea

Hibiscus iced tea is hard to beat. It is hydrating, beautiful, and nutritious, the perfect summer beverage.

  • 15g Greenfields hibiscus
  • 1 ltr boiling water
  • Two tablespoons raw honey (try our Shahd raw honey unfiltered)
  • 3 limes – Juice of two limes and one lime sliced (can use lemon as an alternative)
  • ice cubes, and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions: (prep 5 mins, cooling time 1 hour)

  • Add the hibiscus petals to a pitcher and pour the boiling water over the leaves. Let this steep for a few minutes before stirring in the honey until it melts.
  • Let the tea cool before removing the hibiscus to ensure it is strongly flavoured.
  • Once cooled add the lime juice.
  • Refrigerate until very cold, and serve with sliced lime, ice, and mint.

This will keep well in your fridge and even improves after a day or two.
